Speak4Sociology is a product of the American Sociological Association developed and designed to facilitate conversations on ASA and other sociological topics. This blog was originally started in 2011 and refreshed in 2014 because ASA members have expressed interest in an ASA-sponsored blog in which members may discuss ASA issues as well as public issues of special interest to sociology. Public issues may be discussed here irrespective of whether members feel that they are issues on which it is appropriate for ASA to make public pronouncements.
